Moustache Varanasi

I had a fantastic stay at Moustache! The staff were helpful and assisted me in organizing a boat trip to the ghats to witness the nice ceremonies. The location of the hostel was perfect, just a short walk from the Assy ghat and other ghats. The cleanliness of the hostel was satisfactory, and my shared dorm was spacious and quiet. The free water provided was a nice touch, and the breakfast served was delicious. I highly recommend this place for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Varanasi.

During my Christmas stay, I absolutely loved the helpful and welcoming staff. They made me feel right at home and were always available to assist with any questions or requests. The location was perfect, with easy access to cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Plus, the nearby key location of Assi Ghat provided a lively and vibrant atmosphere throughout my stay, adding to the overall charm of the experience.

There were a few aspects that I disliked during my stay. the bathrooms were not up to par, with cleanliness being an issue even after requesting multiple cleanings.

The noise from the social area, as the door to the dorm room didn't quite fit snugly, allowing sound to pass through. Additionally, the mixed dorm experience was a bit disrupted by guests coming in late.

I recently stayed at Moustache in Varanasi for a few days. The hostel has a great, friendly atmosphere and a nice social area. The staff were always helpful and made me feel welcome. The little kitchen is super clean and has everything you need for basic cooking. The location is fantastic, with cute cafes just around the corner and the ghats a short walk away. The hostel offers great value tours that are both fun and informative. I would definitely stay here again!

I recently stayed at Mustache for a week and had an outstanding experience. The staff, including the owner Artika, manager Saurav, and tour guide Ashish, were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to take care of my needs. The property is new and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and the option for 24/7 air conditioning. The location is fantastic, only a five-minute walk to Assi Ghat, and I felt very safe as a solo female traveler. The rooftop and common areas are great for socializing, and the evening tour with Ashish was a lovely introduction to Varanasi.

I had an amazing stay at a hostel in Varanasi. It was by far the best hostel I stayed in during my month of travel throughout India. The hostel was spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds that had privacy curtains, lights, and outlets. The AC worked well and there was even a water refill station. The common area with a kitchen was great for socializing, and the friendly staff were always willing to help. The owner and property manager were really nice and clearly cared about their guests. The location, just two blocks from Assi Ghat, made it convenient to attend the early morning ceremony. Plus, there were good food options within walking distance. this hostel was exactly how a hostel should be run and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Varanasi.
